Sheridans Cheesemongers, Curraheen Road, CORK: Retail Merchandiser 12hrs

We wish to hire a Retail Merchandiser who can work 12 hours per week, i.e. 2 to 3 hours on 4 to 5 days each week, including weekends, in our Curraheen Road location.

The position will involve managing stock, promoting products with tastings following training and maintaining the appearance of the Sheridans concession in Dunnes Stores, Curaheen Road, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain product merchandising, stock levels, cleanliness, and display consistency as directed by the line manager.
  • Carry out promotional tastings as instructed by the line manager and engage with customers in line with Sheridans\' customer service policies.
  • Communicate regular updates to the line manager.
  • At the location: monitor stock levels; maintain cleanliness per HACCP plan; conduct daily spot-cleaning as required; maintain attractive visual displays; carry out stock rotation; restock to ensure adequate product availability.
Qualifications/Experience
  • At least 1 year working in a similar retail setting or with a company like Sheridans is preferable but not essential.
  • Awareness of HACCP/Food Safety in retail.
  • Organised and calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Available for 4 to 5 short shifts per week including weekends as required to support business needs.
