Job Description:

Playrix is in the global top 3 in terms of profit among mobile game developers. We have created the hit games Gardenscapes, Fishdom, Manor Matters, Homescapes, Wildscapes, and Township. They have been downloaded by more than two billion players, and have a monthly audience of 130 million people.

We are looking for a Senior Server Programmer (Node.js) for our server team. They will be responsible for the development of current game mechanics and the creation of new features for all of Playrix's games.

You will face tasks ranging from developing architecture to implementing and operating services in a high-load environment — 75K RPS. This will require significant experience with NodeJS server development and AWS services.

Team: 8 NodeJS Middle+ and Senior developers.
Our stack: NodeJS, AWS, DynamoDB, Graphite, git, Kibana.

This role requires relocation from Russia and Belarus to one of our offices or remote work from other countries (except Russia and Belarus).

Tasks
  1. Interacting with game development teams and forming requirements for game features
  2. Designing and programming the server side of games for high loads — 75K RPS
  3. Monitoring and ensuring technical reliability of game servers
  4. Designing and developing API for our games
  5. Programming automation scripts for game operations
Requirements
  1. 5+ years of experience in backend development, 2-3 years of which are with Node.js
  2. Proficient knowledge of JavaScript
  3. Experience designing and developing API
  4. Recent experience writing Unit and Integration tests
