The Hodson Bay Hotel is excited to recruit Experienced Restaurant Cashier to join our friendly Food and Beverage team in our L'Escale Restaurant. We are particularly interested in candidates who have availability to work across midweek and weekends on a part-time or full-time basis.

Main Duties:
  • Greet customers entering the restaurant.
  • Process payments via cash, credit, and debit transactions.
  • Carry out all Food & Beverage assistant duties as per standards.
  • Participate in training as required.
  • Manage service in the restaurant, bar, café, or room service as directed.
  • Maintain high levels of customer care.
  • Follow the hotel's customer relations policies.
  • Communicate hotel services to guests.
  • Handle cash, vouchers, and payments securely.
  • Maintain personal hygiene and grooming standards.
  • Wear the relevant uniform and name badge at all times.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met for yourself and others.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by management.
Candidate Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of Food & Beverage experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of drinks and cocktails is a plus but not essential.
  • Availability to work midweek shifts and weekends.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to anticipate and respond to customer needs.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous cash handling experience is advantageous.
