Overview

Sustainability is core to Tesco Ireland's purpose of helping customers, communities and planet a little better every day. We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate sustainability professional to join our Trading Law & Technical department as Sustainability Assistant. The role will be to assist the Sustainability Lead and the team through the development and tracking of key performance indicators in our Planet Plan, and monitoring supplier compliance with our Human Rights policy and upcoming EU sustainability legislation.

About the role

We are looking for a sustainability professional to join our Trading Law & Technical department as Sustainability Assistant. The role will support the Sustainability Lead and Trading Law and Technical Team with the development and tracking of KPI data and monitoring supplier compliance with our Human Rights policy and upcoming EU sustainability legislation.

You will be responsible for
  • Producing accurate and useable key performance indicator data.
  • Tracking local supplier compliance with our Human Rights policies and sustainability legislation.
  • Sending out clear and simple communication to managers.
  • Assisting suppliers.
  • Providing accurate timely data to the business.
  • Tracking all time related tasks so that they are completed on time.
You will need
  • Experience of previous administrative work in a similar role within a retail/FMCG context
  • Keen interest in progressing to Sustainability Manager Level
  • IT Skills – specifically MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
