Our client is looking to hire a Senior Project Engineer on an initial 12-month contract.

Responsibilities:

  • You will always have new opportunities, pursuing ideas that are exciting and innovative. Think critically about manufacturing and supply problems and opportunities to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • As a member of our team, you will actively participate in areas of product development and released product management including sustaining operations project, process design & development, product lifecycle management, day-to-day run the business activities, and post-market quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Take initiative & lead a team to solve problems or execute on processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, execute, and deliver on project requirements.
  • Execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Identify and carry out practical actions to solve technical problems using your new and existing skills in project management, lean sigma, and process development.
  • Lead and support the process development, characterisation, and validation activities for changes to commercial products.
  • Collaborate, document, and present all learnings to project and functional teams.
  • Ensure effective stakeholder management and establish governance processes for communication and escalation.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Third Level 8 Degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
  • Good understanding of product and process design.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a talented team and can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and experience with lean/six sigma tools.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills and ability to develop warm cross-functional relationships.
  • Good organizational, presentation, and project management skills.
