Our client is the owner of a greatly loved cafe and cake shop in County Cork and they're seeking a pastry chef. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for the quality, look and taste of all cakes, buns and breads in Cake Shop & Cafe. They will need to be able to work quickly and efficiently to meet the demands of the shop, as well as maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety. Duties:
  • Decorate and assemble cakes, breads and pastries according to recipes or customer specifications
  • Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all items are prepared correctly and on time
  • Keep work area clean and organized at all times
  • Follow food safety regulations
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a pastry chef
  • Excellent knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
  • Strong creativity and attention to detail
  • Teamwork skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
