Moorehall Lodge Ardee, (part of the Virtue Integrated Elder Care Group), provides a positive living experience for people in a place they can flourish and call home. We are delighted to invite suitable candidates to apply for a full-time Kitchen Assistant position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Assisting with the preparation of food, meals and snacks for residents as required by the Chef and Person in Charge.
• He/she will assist in transporting and serving meals to each Household.
• The Kitchen Assistant is also responsible for the control of stock, labelling, covering and storing food.
• They will be responsible for cleaning and washing of all items used in the kitchen area
• Maintain the kitchen, the cooking utensils and storage areas in line with cleaning schedules.
  
  

Essential Criteria's:

• Candidates must be available to work over the seven day period,
• Previous experience of working in a kitchen environment along with Basic Food Hygiene
• HACCP training will be an advantage.
