About The Role

As a Meetings & Events Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the events function, ensuring exceptional service and operational efficiency. You will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and Director of Sales to drive event revenue and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate all meeting and event operations
  • Work closely with sales and reservations teams to maximize bookings and revenue
  • Manage a team of event service professionals, ensuring top-tier guest experiences
  • Ensure function rooms are set up, fully equipped, and meet guest expectations
  • Monitor food & beverage service, ensuring quality and compliance with brand standards
  • Handle guest feedback, resolve issues, and continuously improve service delivery
  • Develop strategies with the Director of Sales to achieve revenue goals
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain operational excellence

What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role within a 4-star+ hotel or event venue
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proven ability to drive event sales and exceed performance targets
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of event operations, banquet setup, and F&B service standards

Desirable Qualifications
  • Leadership qualification or industry awards
  • Previous experience with a recognized hospitality brand
