We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at McCabes Pharmacy in North Dublin.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and dispense prescriptions professionally.
  2. Manage prescription control and paperwork.
  3. Prepare Monitored Dosage Systems and handle monthly claims for HSE PCRS submission.
  4. Assist customers with over-the-counter products and provide high-quality customer service.
  5. Manage dispensary stock, including expiry checks and ethical ordering.
  6. Engage in personal development and other relevant duties.
Additional Responsibilities with Pharmacy Manager:
  1. Order and accept stock, maintain stockroom standards.
  2. Carry out inter-branch transfers according to procedures.
  3. Implement planograms as per guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:
  • IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies.
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in high-volume dispensing and customer service.
  • Knowledge of SOPs, Touchstore, Arc Claim Management, and HSE PCRS claims process.
