Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure that raw materials are available for production.
  • Communicate with production teams to address any scheduling conflicts or operational challenges.
  • Monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
  • Analyze production data to forecast future production needs and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Coordinate with quality assurance to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
  • Prepare reports on production performance and present findings to management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field would be an advantage
  • Proven experience in production planning or a similar role in the food production industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
