Location: Dublin 26 Area
We are currently seeking a Site Engineer for a leading contractor based in Dublin 26 to work on a major residential development project.
Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of site plans and project schedules.
- Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure the quality of materials and workmanship.
- Monitor and manage materials, equipment, and labour on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, reports, and progress updates.
- Identify and resolve any site-related issues promptly to minimize delays.
- Ensure all safety regulations are followed and promote a safe working environment.
- Assist in tracking project costs and ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
- Provide technical advice and support to site workers and other stakeholders.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Site Engineer role working on construction/civil engineering projects
- An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and technology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions quickly.
