This is an opportunity to join the Matheson LLP (Matheson) tax practice, the largest tax practice group amongst Irish law firms, advising leading corporations and financial institutions doing business in and from Ireland. We are hiring tax lawyers / tax advisors to join our team to work directly with our international client base on complex and challenging tax matters.

About the role

You will have the opportunity to be involved across a range of matters, whilst also having the opportunity to focus on your areas of strength. The group primarily advises on:

  • International tax and cross border planning for corporate reorganisations, restructurings and inward investment into Ireland
  • Capital markets and structured finance transactions
  • Investment banking and banking transactions
  • Private equity transactions
  • Transfer pricing
  • Asset and project finance for international and domestic aircraft and equipment
  • Mergers, acquisitions, demergers and flotations
  • VAT and indirect taxes and advisory services
  • Tax controversy and tax litigation
