Job Summary

Commercial Manager – North Dublin

D.O.E: €100K – €120K

A main contractor who has ongoing projects in Dublin are seeking a Commercial Manager to support their team on a project in North Dublin. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to progress their career with a growing employer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the commercial function across multiple large-scale projects.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost plans to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Lead procurement strategies, contract negotiations, and subcontractor management.
  • Provide commercial insight and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, policies, and industry standards.
  • Support tendering and bid submissions for future pipeline work.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree in Construction Management/Quantity Surveying or relevant project experience.
  • A minimum of 7+ years' experience in commercial roles within the construction industry.
  • Proven success managing the commercial aspects of large, complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of contract forms (RIAI, FIDIC, NEC, etc.)
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project/PowerPoint with excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
