Established in 2022, Connect Install Ltd is a Dublin based construction installation company working across Ireland, UK, and EU. We provide services for a variety of projects and channels including Signage, Displays, Modular Systems, Awnings, Pergolas, Roof Systems, FF&E, Carpentry, POS, Vinyl's, Acoustic's, Whiteboards, Painting/Wallpapering and more.

We are an emerging and ambitious company who bases its business on highly trained and certified installers. Continued growth of our company means we have an opportunity for fitters to join our busy team. We are looking for individuals who are motivated, confident, and professional as the role demands working to exacting standards across a variety of installation projects within agreed time limits.

Job Specification

Title – Fitter/Installer: Signage and Pergola/ Awnings installation channel.

Connect Install Ltd would like to welcome an enthusiastic member to join our installation team. This role involves traveling to sites, ensuring installations meet industry standards, and compliance with Workplace Health & Safety.

What we are looking for:
  1. Construction industry fitting/installation experience.
  2. Initiative taking and problem-solving individuals eager to learn and grow within and parallel to the business.
  3. Individuals comfortable with being able to or willing to learn how to read and understand architectural and/or project plans, drawings, and instructions to carry-out required work for both as part of a team or independently.
  4. Ensure that all activities are carried-out safely and in line with the industry standards, training and Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure best practice for yourself, your team, and the client.
  5. Comfortable with ongoing communication with colleagues and clients so that the team work together on resolutions.
  6. Maintain the safety & security of any company vehicle, tools or equipment assigned to you, ensuring to report any damage, faults, or requirements to your supervisor.
  7. Assist in maintaining stock accuracy and inventory management.
  8. Have a creative eye with strong attention-to-detail.
  9. Comfortable using scheduling & job card software and experience uploading reports, supporting documents and relevant communication.
  10. Flexibility to work evenings/weekends for projects as required.
Requirements:
  1. If you are an EU/EEA national, you will be asked to show proof of right to work in Ireland e.g. showing your employer a copy of your passport. If you are a non-EU/EEA national, you will require current and valid permission to work and reside in the Republic of Ireland.
  2. Residents based in ROI with a PPS number & Irish bank account.
  3. Possess a valid Irish or EU driver's license and willingness to work at a variety of sites and travel across Ireland, UK and the EU.
  4. Hold a current SOLAS Safe Pass certification.
  5. Ideally hold a current Manual Handling, Mewp and relevant industry certification.
  6. We require two references from prior employments.
  7. The ideal candidate will preferably have experience in aspects of signage, vinyl, graphic or other installation but we welcome applications across backgrounds.
  8. First Aid training certification desirable.

The position is open for an immediate start with Full Time and Casual Contracts for the Fitter roles in both Signage and Pergola/ Awnings installation channel. Successful candidates will be offered a contract dependent on experience, skill level and availability. A 6-month probation period applies for all contract types.
