Opalus Healthcare is recruiting Paediatrics SHOs and Registrars for hospitals across Ireland. These positions are available as short-term locums or standalone contract roles (6–12 months), with full-time and part-time flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Paediatric Care: Provide acute and routine medical care to neonates, infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Clinical Assessment: Conduct examinations, diagnostics, and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Emergency Response: Manage paediatric emergencies in coordination with hospital teams.
  • Supervision & Teaching (Registrar level): Support, guide, and supervise junior medical staff as needed.
  • Medical Records: Ensure meticulous documentation and contribute to audits and quality improvement.

Requirements:

  • Full IMC Registration (General or Specialist Division).
  • Minimum 2 years post-internship experience in Paediatrics.
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work across different Irish locations.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland (Irish/EU/UK passport or Stamp 4).
  • Previous experience in the Irish healthcare system.
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) or PALS (Paediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
