The Assistant Manager plays a key role in achieving these standards, leading by example, embracing our entrepreneurial spirit, and inspiring their teams through passion for the brands.

Responsibilities
  • Lead store teams to generate sales and profit, minimize losses, and create an exceptional customer experience while ensuring the store is visually distinctive and impeccably maintained.
  • Identify opportunities to grow the business and improve performance through collaboration with others.
  • Maintain corporate visual merchandising directives and standards for sales floor and back room.
  • Work with the visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication between VM and store teams.
  • Partner with store management to build on business opportunities and achieve company standards and objectives.
  • Focus on building quality relationships with customers and create a repeat customer base through unparalleled service.
  • Complete daily/weekly store walkthroughs; evaluate product performance, pricing, staff service levels, and inventory levels.
  • Communicate sales drivers and priorities to the Store Manager and develop weekly action plans for visual presentation and store improvements.
  • Analyze store-level reports and create action plans to improve results.
  • Assist with manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring; recruit personnel with diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
  • Work with the Store Manager to build bench strength for key positions, including possible successors.
  • Participate in weekly management meetings and other staff meetings.
  • Clearly communicate store and individual sales goals and performance expectations; provide guidance on improvements.
  • Provide a great customer journey and achieve exemplary mystery shop results.
