Application Support Analyst
My client is one of the largest Irish media companies and they are looking for an Application Support Analyst based in Dublin with experience in Streaming Video to develop and support some of the most high-profile online video products in Ireland.

You will be responsible for ensuring the performance and reliability of online video publishing and delivery, working in a multi-disciplinary team to develop and support high-quality streaming media experiences used by hundreds of thousands of viewers around the world.

What do you need to succeed?

  • A proven track record working in an engineering role, delivering and supporting distributed systems and public-facing applications in a production environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge across multiple client platforms, including Mobile App, Web, Smart TVs, Set-top Boxes, Chromecast, and other OTT devices.
  • Experience in a Broadcast Engineering discipline with a proven record of delivery.
  • Knowledge and experience working with video streaming protocols (HLS and MPEG-DASH), video and audio encoding, DRM, video analytics & QoE metrics, and in-stream video advertising.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Proficient programming and scripting skills in Python or similar.
