An exciting opportunity has become available for a Transport Planner to join our client's logistics team.

In this pivotal role, you will help optimise fleet utilisation across the UK & Ireland, collaborate with hauliers and internal departments, and ensure the efficient movement of goods. If you're passionate about enhancing transport operations and delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you

Are you the right person for the job?

  • 2-3 years of experience in transport planning within a fast-paced logistics environment
  • Customs knowledge is beneficial
  • Strong commercial awareness and proficiency in transport management systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Well-organised and able to work well under pressure
  • Good geographical knowledge of Dublin and Ireland, with experience handling trailers for UK to Ireland routes and deliveries around Ireland

What will your role look like?

  • Plan and optimise fleet operations across the UK & Ireland
  • Collaborate with third-party hauliers and logistics partners
  • Maximise load coverage through strategic use of our network
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders and oversee customer orders
