Overview

Senior Test Engineer contract role with a global medical device company. Based in County Tipperary, Ireland; 2-3 days onsite per week; remote work for the remaining days. Start ASAP. Initial contract length: 12 months with potential extensions. Rate: €55-70 per hour, depending on experience.



Responsibilities
  • Help build R&D test systems from the ground up.
  • Advance existing work to the next level where not built from scratch.
  • Update R&D test systems from LabVIEW test requirements.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to understand current test system behavior and implement improvements and updates.
  • Develop and enhance test systems with new capabilities over time.


Essential skills
  • Controlling equipment using LabVIEW
  • Test and duration experience
  • Demonstrated capability in LabVIEW


Desirable skills
  • MATLAB
  • Python
  • C++


Contract details

Start date: ASAP. Location: County Tipperary. On-site requirement: 2-3 days per week; remote work otherwise. Initial contract length: 12 months with extension options. Rate: €55-70 per hour depending on experience.
