The Sample Receipt Coordinator is a critical position in ensuring we get the right information and samples into the laboratory. This person will ensure accuracy when receiving and inputting data into our various management systems and report issues with samples to the relevant person. They will ensure all activities are carried out in line with company's stringent health, safety and quality policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Input samples onto the relevant system using information provided by the customer (submission files, sample sheets etc.)
  • Validate received samples against previously uploaded information
  • Report issues with samples in a timely manner to line manager
  • Run reports on samples to keep KPI reporting up to date
  • Maintain an organised and efficient workflow
  • Suggest improvements to workflow
  • Work in a safe manner
  • Work within quality guidelines outlined in documented procedures

Hourly Rate: €15.10 per hour / 35 hour week

Expertise
  • Ideally experience with various types of samples containing genetic material
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office, MS Dynamics)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good time management
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good communication skills
