Responsibilities
  • Accountable for ensuring that all products produced at the Dun Laoghaire site adhere to the specified microbiological and sterilization standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all current relevant worldwide regulatory requirements that relate to products manufactured at the Dun Laoghaire location.
  • Supervise Microbiology Technicians.
  • Set and apply microbiological quality standards for all products across the site.
  • Ensure compliance with all sterilisation and environmental monitoring requirements.
  • Responsible for dose establishment, dose audits, dose mapping and preparing cycle time charts as required.
  • Review processed product lots and approve lots for release.
  • Act as microbiological technical specialist for the Dun Laoghaire site.
  • Integrate with appropriate technical specialist groups.
Relevant Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare industry in a similar role.
  • Radiation and sterilization experience would be advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with other software/tools is an advantage.
  • Experience in process validation, sterilisation and working in a clean room environment would be advantageous.
  • Proven ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to work with various software tools and technologies.
