Retail Supermarket Baker Job North County Dublin

Teamworx is currently recruiting an experienced Supermarket Grocery Baker to join the team of a major player in the supermarket industry. This particular retail group would have a great standing reputation for retaining staff, promoting within the company, and developing some of the best fresh food teams in the country.

Our client is looking for an ambitious individual looking to further develop their experience and skills as a Baker within a supermarket grocery store with an award-winning team in an established retail supermarket store.

Our client will offer a competitive salary of up to €16.00 per hour DOE.

The ideal candidate
  • Hard-working, flexible, and adaptable team player.
  • Proven experience within a similar role and/or experience in producing a volume of freshly baked bread; cake decorating would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Passion for good food and quality produce, taking pride in your work.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of food safety requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Baking and decorating baked goods to a high standard.
  • Follow instructions, but also have the initiative to work efficiently alone and proceed to the next tasks.
  • Follow recipes but also innovate and assist with new ideas and recipe testing.
  • Liaise with management and other team members to ensure the smooth running of the bakery department.
  • Understanding and implementing food safety and sanitation guidelines is essential.
  • You will learn about proper handling, storage, and temperature control of fresh food and freshly baked items to ensure they are safe for consumption.
