We are now recruiting Social Care Workers to join our Day Service teams across various locations in Co. Meath. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a progressive and supportive organisation, where staff are valued, and training and development are a priority.   • Role: Social Care Workers - Day Services
  • Locations: Various Prosper Meath locations, Co. Meath
  • Hours: Circa 35 hours per week
  • Contract: Permanent Contract
  • Salary Scale: €36,391 - €52,444 (commensurate with experience)

About The Role

As a Social Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering adults with intellectual disabilities to:
  • Support people to build independence and life skills
  • Facilitate participation in community and creative activities
  • Promote confidence, wellbeing, and meaningful relationships

You will be part of a passionate, professional, and person-centred team, committed to providing respectful, progressive, and empowering services.

Requirements:
  • QQI Level 7/8 Bachelor's Degree in Social Care or a related field
  • Registered with CORU (or in process of registration)
  • Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word
  • Full, clean manual driving licence (essential)
  • Previous experience in disability services (desirable)
  • Knowledge of New Directions services and supports for adults with disabilities (advantageous)
