Overview

Retail Store Manager - Carrigaline (Full time, permanent) at Vision Ireland. Location: Vision Ireland Retail Store, Carrigaline, Co. Cork. Vacancy Type: Full-time, Permanent. Working hours: 37.5 per week (5 days of 7).

Join Vision Ireland as a Store Manager to lead the Carrigaline store, manage a strong team, drive turnover and revenues, and uphold brand standards while supporting the local community.

Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed ongoing retail store sales targets.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are attractive and align with weekly promotions.
  • Recruit, develop and coach staff, volunteers, and social activation scheme employees to foster a positive customer service culture.
  • Ensure adequate staffing to meet business needs across daily/weekly trading periods.
  • Maintain high quality goods, keep the store clean and professional in appearance.
  • Manage donated goods presentation, including pricing, ticketing, cleaning, ironing, and stock rotation.
  • Oversee shop accounting procedures including banking, till receipts, transactions, and cash handling.
  • Take full responsibility for inventory and security of equipment and fittings on the shop floor and extended premises.
  • Lead and support ongoing store and community-based fundraising events.
  • Promote the Vision Ireland brand through local channels in a cost-effective manner, ensuring brand-aligned communications.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance, including training, fire procedures, and maintenance of safety and first aid equipment.
