WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Qualifications & Experience: Have at least 1 year Homecare experience in Ireland, at least 2 Core Modules of QQI level 5 in Health & Social care - Care Skills and Care of the Older person and working towards Full QQI level 5 in Health & Social Care.

Drivers licence: Hold a full driving licence with access to a car.

Communication Skills: Good standard of English - both spoken and written.

Flexibility: Must be available to work alternative weekends.

Desirable criteria: Have excellent interpersonal skills, an empathic approach to people, be highly organised, and have excellent time management skills.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To be responsible for staff shadowing - ensuring Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • To undertake emergency over - Rapid response (filling new packages and discharges).
  • To evaluate and monitor the quality of the care delivered to clients and report to the area manager with concerns.
  • Checking and collecting journal notes from clients' houses.
  • Delivery of Careplans, log sheets and gloves to client's homes when required.
  • Delivery of PPE.
