Senior BIM Coordinator
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Employment Type: Full-Time

Noel Group are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior BIM Coordinator to join our client's in-house team in Dublin. The successful candidate will work on complex construction projects, collaborating closely with all stakeholders to ensure project success through effective coordination and issue resolution.

Role Overview:
As a Senior BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and managing high-quality 3D models, coordinating mechanical and electrical services, and leading BIM activities across live and tender projects. You will play a crucial role in driving project delivery through collaboration, attention to detail, and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate with the BIM Manager, Project Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Input model elements with accurate graphical and data detail.
  • Identify and manage clashes, producing weekly clash detection reports.
  • Coordinate and monitor incoming models and shared information from project stakeholders.
  • Lead weekly design coordination meetings.
  • Produce drawings, images, and visualisations for project teams and reports.
  • Coordinate mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring accurate asset data integration.
  • Produce COBie data, as-built drawings, and Asset Information Models.
  • Support BIM delivery across both live projects and tender opportunities.
  • Generate mechanical and electrical schematics and presentation images using BIM software.
  • Work in accordance with company Health, Safety, and Quality management systems.
  • (Advantageous) Experience working with point cloud data.

Role Requirements:

  • Background in Mechanical or Electrical trades is an advantage.
  • Strong IT skills with proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in BIM, with expertise in Revit/Navisworks.
  • Solid experience coordinating M&E services is essential.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve coordination issues effectively.
