Managing Director | Coopman Search & Selection | Recruiting for Senior Finance, Accounting & Interim Management Professionals

An insurance company with a strong presence in the international insurance market is looking to hire a Financial Controller on a permanent basis.

  • Supervise the preparation and communication of quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Production of quarterly and annual returns to the CBI (QRTs)
  • Oversee and manage the finance team
  • Developing financial business plans and forecasts
  • Coordinating external auditors
Core Competencies
  • Experience of operating at a relevant level of seniority to the role
  • A sound working knowledge of general accounting principles, financial / insurance products
  • Knowledge / awareness of regulatory issues Solvency II and local regulatory guidelines
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a range of competing priorities
