About the Team

Our Globalisation Platform Engineering organisation's mission is to lead the internationalisation and localisation of Workday products and peripheral content by leveraging innovative Agentic AI capabilities. Our diverse and globally distributed engineering organisation is composed of independent problem solvers across engineering and product management, passionate about using groundbreaking AI technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.

About the Role

Partner with our product and engineering leads on creating future localisation and Agentic AI capabilities for Workday. You will lead by example, demonstrating architecture and development best practices, while mentoring your fellow team members.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years software development experience.
  • Expert proficiency in Object Oriented (OO) languages like Java, C#, or similar.
  • Expert proficiency in Python 3.
  • Hands-on experience delivering products that combine traditional software engineering and AI capabilities.

Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
  • Practical experience with generative models, large language models (LLM), and transformer neural networks.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP), containerization technologies (e.g. Docker), and data engineering pipelines (e.g. ETL).
  • Experience designing and deploying machine learning solutions using large-scale datasets.
  • Resilience to obstacles and ability to solve problems independently.
