This position is for Mitchelstown, Co Cork and surrounding counties.

We are hiring for a great opportunity within our Retinal Technicians team for Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, and the surrounding counties. The role involves eye photography to identify damage to the retina caused by complications of diabetes. Experience is not essential, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to enter healthcare or develop their skills in the field. We have a professional team that will support you every step of the way to becoming a specialist in this area.

You will be part of the national programme, working alongside our Senior Diabetic Retinal Technicians, Team Leader, and other programme seniors, with support from the administration team, programme manager, and clinical lead. All team members are or are becoming subject matter experts in retinopathy, ensuring you have support when needed.

We want to ensure your success, so here are the key skills we're looking for:

• Experience is not required
• Full clean Irish driving license and a safe place to house the company vehicle are essential
• A passion for customer care and positive patient outcomes
• IT literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office
• Initiative, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
• A strong work ethic and proactive approach, as you'll be largely unsupervised after training
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
