ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Chartered Civil Engineer with a specialization in Transport Engineering, ideally with demonstrable experience in airport infrastructure projects, to support our expanding Aviation portfolio across the UK and Ireland. This role will be based in our Dublin office, located at Dublin Airport, with support from our headquarters in London and Spain. Your main responsibilities will be:

• Play a key role in the immediate delivery of a high-profile Design & Build project at Dublin Airport.
• Contribute to the development and execution of aviation and broader infrastructure projects across Ireland, the UK, and occasionally on international assignments.
• Collaborating with and supported by specialist teams—including structural, geotechnical, civil, drainage, aeronautical, and electrical engineers, for example: provide technical input in outline and detailed design phases, lead the development of technical specifications, development of technical details, engineering reports, and Bills of Quantities, perform basic structural assessments, develop and review pavement designs for access roads and Ensuring compliance with relevant Irish and/or UK standards and regulations.

ABOUT YOU

Apply if you…

• Have studied bachelor's degree in civil engineering and have Chartered Engineer status. Master's degree in Airport Planning, Transport Engineering, or a related discipline are desirable
• Have at least six years of experience working in design and engineering consultancies. Is valuable the experience in airport infrastructure projects, ideally having served as a Technical Lead. Experience working on projects at Dublin Airport or Cork Airport would be a strong advantage, given the local context and regulatory environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK and/or Irish standards and regulations relevant to transport infrastructure as ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization), CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), DIO (Defence Infrastructure Organisation) or equivalent regulatory bodies
• Are proficient in Civil 3D and other relevant civil engineering design software.
• Have availability for short business trips (typically 1–3 days per visit, although such travel is not currently anticipated, with Willingness to attend client meetings and industry events across Ireland and UK.
• Are a team player with technical excellence.
• Can work independently with a flair for innovation.
• Do have an advanced level of English. Spanish will be valuable also.
