As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of this €4m refurbishment project in Kilkenny. Working closely with the project/site management team and business leaders, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out, leveling, and surveying the site using the latest surveying equipment.
- Monitoring and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
- Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Providing technical support and guidance to the site team on engineering matters.
- Maintaining accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, daily diaries, and as-built drawings.
- Implementing and enforcing health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
- Resolving any technical issues or conflicts that may arise during the course of the project.
- Liaising with the client, consultants, and other project stakeholders to address any concerns or queries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on construction projects over €1m
- Proficiency in the use of surveying instruments and software.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
