This analyst is responsible by analysing operations and risk management system data to develop appropriate and dynamic reports and dashboards to support risk controls and KPIs. The role needs to deliver intelligent, innovative, and insightful MI and dashboards to inform decisions, realise measurable business benefit and meet regulatory deadlines and requirements.

This is a 12 month contract under a hybrid model, 2/3 days a week onsite.

Requirements:

  • Analyse large and complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Use insights from investigations to quickly implement new fraud detection techniques.
  • Build and maintain data models and algorithms to support business needs.
  • Create clear, insightful reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to deliver data-driven recommendations.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency in all reporting outputs.

What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment.
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, Excel, or similar tools.
  • Experience building dashboards and visualisations (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data clearly.
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude and a collaborative mindset.
