Base pay range

Superb opportunity for an experienced Credit Risk professional who has circa 6 years plus experience within Credit risk modelling coming from a Financial Services setting.

As this newly created division continues to grow and thrive within a market that is constantly evolving and challenging the Risk community, this opportunity stands given its overarching career and technical solution focus.

The basis of the role

  • Taking a lead role in financial risk and prudential regulation related projects with specific focus on credit modelling.
  • Leading the execution of engagements whilst providing credit risk modelling and risk analytics expertise to a range of diverse clients.
  • Managing and developing more junior colleagues.
  • Working with the wider European and global financial risk network to identify, build and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
  • Taking a lead role in growing the business including identifying new opportunities in the market and developing relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Developing your network in the local financial services community.
  • Developing thought leadership on financial risk and prudential regulation topics.

What we are seeking:

  • Proven credit risk modelling experience, in model development and/or validation (IRB or IFRS9 experience).
  • Bachelor's and or master's degree in a quantitative or Finance discipline.
  • Advanced software modelling skills with experience using SAS, SQL, Python or R.
  • Proven experience leading a model development and/or validation from end to end including planning and execution.
  • Experience in leading meetings and the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-expert audiences.
