Founded 26 years ago in Trim, Ireland, Frank Pratt and Sons has established itself as a leading provider in the construction industry, specialising in earthworks, infrastructural projects, residential/commercial developments, and demolition packages. We have proudly contributed to numerous landmark projects across Ireland including M3 Sisk Ferrovial, M4, M50 D+C Dunshaughlin/Drumree Link Road, Cairn Homes Griffith Avenue and Maynooth, John Sisk and Sons Takeda Grangecastle, Winthrop Technologies Ballymakilly Dub 4 + Dub 5, Gem Construction Dunshaughlin, Churchill and Malahide etc.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a quantity surveyor in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Target, source and develop client base.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for earthworks and demolition-based projects.
  • Conduct valuations and prepare applications for payment for work completed, ensuring timely submissions.
  • Assess and manage change orders, pricing variations, and ensure client approval before implementing changes.
  • Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates and bill of quantities for civil projects, often in the tendering phase.
  • Monitor project budgets, provide cost-value reconciliations, and manage financial reporting to keep projects within budget constraints.

Full-Time Monday - Friday

Pay: €80-€100k per year
