HVAC Mechanical Technician - Cooler Tower

Job Summary:
  • Manage and maintain HVAC – Cooling Towers and Mechanical systems on site.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
Skills Required:
  • Qualifications: Mechanical trade or Level 6 trade certificate in Mechanical/Electrical field.
  • At least 4-6+ years of HVAC experience in maintenance, engineering, utilities, or facilities environment.
  • Cooling Tower experience within similar environments.
  • Knowledge of maintenance management tools and techniques.
  • Experience working in a multi-skilled team environment.
Duties:
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on site cooling towers.
  • Carry out HVAC installation projects, refurbish existing HVAC plant, and perform general HVAC maintenance on air handling/conditioning systems.
  • Conduct emergency HVAC repairs individually and as part of a team.
  • Liaise with engineering functions and client organization to complete maintenance works, review energy efficiency plans, and maintain records of materials, orders, and purchases.
  • Test, balance, and perform instrument and controls activities on AHU and ventilation plants.
  • Ensure all works meet site KPIs and quality standards set in the client contract.
  • Ensure HVAC systems are fully operational and proactively address potential issues.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of spare parts on site.
