We are hiring on behalf of our client for a dedicated and experienced Accommodation Manager to oversee the housekeeping and accommodation operations of a well-established hospitality property in County Offaly. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the accommodation and housekeeping department.
- Lead, train, and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Maintain and implement health, safety, and hygiene policies and procedures in line with best practices.
- Develop rotas, manage staff schedules, and ensure efficient labour planning.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Manage linen and laundry services, stock levels, and ordering of supplies.
- Ensure a positive guest experience by addressing feedback and resolving any issues promptly.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar accommodation or housekeeping management role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage a diverse team.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Full eligibility to work in Ireland (valid work permit, if required).
