EHS Specialist – Process Safety

County Tipperary, Ireland | 11-month contract | Mon–Fri, 39 hours/week | €30–€35 per hour

Are you an EHS professional with process safety experience looking to take the next step in your career?

We're seeking an EHS Specialist to join our client's high-performing Environmental, Health & Safety team at a top-tier COMAH pharmaceutical site. This is an exciting opportunity to build your expertise, lead meaningful safety initiatives, and work in a collaborative, expert-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support process safety on-site and across key projects
  • Participate in HAZOPs, LOPAs, risk assessments, and change control
  • Collaborate with SMEs across industrial hygiene, machinery safety, and more
  • Advise on compliance with evolving safety legislation and standards
  • Promote and lead a proactive, high-performance EHS culture

What You'll Need:

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental/Safety Science, or similar
  • 5+ years' experience in EHS or process safety in pharma, chemical, or related industries
  • Knowledge of HAZOP, LOPA, ATEX, COMAH, and safety systems
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills
  • HAZOP/LOPA Chair certification is a plus (training can be provided)
