MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To operate within the fresh food department efficiently, effectively, and hygienically to ensure customer satisfaction at all times with the highest standards of service and products.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Excellent customer service skills.
  2. Team player with a can-do positive attitude.
  3. Ability to deal with multiple tasks in a quick-moving environment.
  4. Deli sales experience required; however, full training will be provided.
  5. Excellent time management skills are very important for the role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Serve all customers courteously and efficiently to an outstanding standard.
  2. Ensure all customer queries and complaints are dealt with promptly and in a professional manner.
  3. Offer advice and product knowledge to customers.
  4. Increase sales by promoting the products/promotions in the store.
  5. Preparation, display, and service of top-quality hot and cold foods across our deli and bakery department.
  6. Knowledge of Food Safety, Hygiene, and HACCP.
