Our drivers are the face of our business, and their interaction with our customers is crucial to our success.

In this role, you will be delivering frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals and bringing sunshine to our customers' doors (regardless of weather). You should enjoy meeting people and be willing to go above and beyond.

You will work within our coldstore at -20ºC. Protective clothing will be provided, along with breaks to warm up and enjoy a hot drink.

You will need to work as part of the wider team, always looking to assist the office team. We encourage movement between teams for flexibility, job satisfaction, personal development, and broad knowledge of the business.

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is the UK's largest ready-meal supplier, delivering over 330 different frozen meals across the UK, mainly to the elderly, their families, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver frozen meals to customers promptly.
  2. Pick orders within the coldstore.
  3. Use our app to update delivery statuses.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service.
  5. Conduct pre-shift vehicle inspections.
  6. Drive safely and responsibly.
  7. Maintain and refuel your van as needed.
  8. Report discrepancies or delays to the office.
  9. Ensure customer confidentiality.
  10. Assist the office and picking teams when needed.
  11. Report health, safety, stock, and vehicle issues.
  12. Support team members during absences.
  13. Carry out local marketing activities to attract new customers.
Essential Requirements:
  • Experience in customer service roles.
  • Full manual driving licence.
  • Basic computer literacy, including phone apps.
  • Work stability evidence.
  • Secondary education.
Desirable Skills:
  • Multi-drop delivery experience.
  • Experience in care roles.
  • Warehouse experience.
  • Health & safety awareness.
Personal Qualities:
  • Friendly, approachable, reliable.
  • Passionate about customer service.
  • Good attendance and punctuality.

You must have held a manual driving licence for at least 2 years.
