This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Nursing located in Meath Hill. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining high standards of care. Key day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing nursing policies, managing budgets, leading staff training and development, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
Responsibilities- Oversee nursing staff and operations to ensure high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
- Manage budgets and financial resources for the nursing department.
- Lead staff training and development; mentor and supervise nursing personnel.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Leadership, management, and supervisory skills in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices and healthcare regulations
- Experience in developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Bachelor\'s degree in Nursing or related field; a Master\'s degree is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
