Our client is seeking a Head Receptionist to join their Front Office team. This is a hands-on, team-focused role suited to someone who enjoys guest interaction and supporting day-to-day hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the Front Office team, maintaining high levels of customer service
- Oversee the check-in and check-out processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests
- Ensure reservations and billing procedures are carried out correctly
- Provide training and ongoing support to the reception team
- Assist with staff rotas and ensure appropriate front desk coverage
- Monitor daily front desk operations to align with hotel policies and procedures
- Support the Front Office Manager with administrative duties and reporting
- Uphold health, safety, and security standards within the department
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of hotel PMS systems is an advantage
- A guest-focused, proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment
