Overview

Mobile Shop Assistant - Galway and Athlone Stores – Wurth Ireland Ltd

Join our team as a Mobile Shop Assistant working across Galway and Athlone stores, with occasional travel to other stores within a defined geographical radius. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic work environment and is capable of traveling between stores on short notice.

Responsibilities
  • Build effective relationships with customers through value-added selling.
  • Identify sales opportunities and offer advice and solutions from our extensive product range.
  • Strive to achieve monthly KPIs including sales and margin targets.
  • Maintain a clean, well-merchandised shop and ensure stock levels are maintained.
  • Make telesales calls to new or existing customers.
  • Keep the working environment tidy and safe; remain security conscious at all times.
Requirements
  • Experienced in selling with a strong ambition to succeed.
  • Full, valid driving license and access to a reliable car.
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Willingness to work hard and embrace learning opportunities.
  • Great communication skills; friendly, reliable, honest and enthusiastic.
  • Flexibility and mobility to work across multiple shops within a defined radius of your home on short notice.
  • Background in construction, tools or automotive industry is ideal but not essential; DIY or trade/retail experience is acceptable.
