Accounts Payable Team Lead - Staycity Group, Dublin

Staycity Group is a leading and fast-growing aparthotel operator across major European cities, including London, Dublin, Berlin, and Paris. With multiple new openings each year, our central finance team in Dublin supports over 1,400 colleagues across Ireland, the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands.

The Role

We're looking for an Accounts Payable Team Lead to join our Finance Team in Dublin Head Office on a full-time, permanent basis. This role oversees AP operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the AP team, ensuring accurate processing of transactions.
  • Oversee invoice processing and ensure timely vendor payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and manage the AP inbox.
  • Coordinate payment runs in line with company policies.
  • Provide operational support and address urgent queries.
  • Train and develop team members.
  • Handle audit queries and ensure compliance.
  • Review AP ledger for accuracy at month-end.
  • Support system implementations (including Microsoft Dynamics Business Central).
  • Drive process improvements for AP automation.
  • Collaborate on month-end reporting and maintain financial controls.
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with team members.

What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years in an AP lead or finance role.
  • Strong team leadership and development experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central a plus).
  • Strong Excel and data management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management.
