A Day in The Life Of:

• As a Senior Principal Engineer, you will be an active technical leader in new product development, including design, technology development & advancement, automation, vendor management, and project management.
• Provide leadership in manufacturing technology innovation strategy across the department.
• Progress projects from concept to commercialization, leading on product, process, engineering, and leadership fronts.
• Assess risks and resolve technical challenges with existing processes and technologies.
• Use DRM or similar methodologies, 3-D drawing/printing, and augmented reality to develop technologies for manufacturing new medical devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, execute, and deliver new product development requirements.
• Lead teams driving process innovation, focusing on improving quality, reducing variation, and developing automated systems.
• Support process development, characterization, and validation activities for new products.
• Participate in cross-site technical forums and build a network within the technical community.
• Define and implement strategic goals aligned with the business unit strategy.

Key Skills & Experience

• Third-level degree or higher in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline, with 10+ years' experience.
• Passionate about engineering principles and concepts, with a proven SME in equipment and process development, innovation, and project management.
• Excellent project management skills, with experience coordinating complex process characterizations and equipment across teams.
• Experience with DRM practices, metrics like PCX, WFX, and leading DFMA workshops.
• Extensive engineering knowledge in concept development, technology evaluation, process design, materials, design for six sigma, CAD, statistical techniques, and process validation.
• Good communication skills, fluent in English, with high enthusiasm and motivation.
• Strong organizational, presentation, and project management skills.
• Proven influencer with skills in driving large-scale technical initiatives.
