A day in the life.

As our National Industry Practice Coordinator on the National Industry Practices team, you'll work with the National Industry Leader and Industry Practice leadership to grow our business. This position is responsible for supporting the various National Industry Practice initiatives. This role works with colleagues across the geographic footprint and multiple business divisions of MMA. Strong communication, organizational and collaborative skills are essential to success in this role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative, clerical and operational support for the National Industry Practices team.
  2. Preparation of reports, action items, deliverables, presentations and documentation.
  3. Assist with various projects as needed such as speeches, presentations, conferences, associations and conferences.
  4. Negotiate hotel blocks and restaurant large group reservations within the approval process.
  5. Coordinate and calendar industry network calls and in-person meetings.
  6. Gather data, update and maintain information within various internal and external systems.
  7. Maintain national industry contacts within various systems.
  8. Develop and maintain good relationships with others across the MMA organization.

A successful candidate will be a service-oriented individual with high personal standards and a hands-on work style. This position requires an individual who is comfortable working at a varying pace, managing multiple tasks, adjusting priorities often, and managing frequent interruptions.

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

  1. 3 -5 years in the role of administrative assistant or similar.
  2. Bachelor's degree.
  3. Must be skilled (intermediate level) in using MS Office software; preferably version 2016.
  4. Basic math and professional level business writing skills.
  5. Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel and PowerPoint) in creating presentations and documents, including database and spreadsheet data entry.
  6. Excellent phone personality.
  7. Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  8. Alert, positive and approachable demeanor.
  9. Must be dependable, possess a strong attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment.
