Overview

PE Global is recruiting for a Senior DeltaV Automation Engineer for our pharmaceutical industry client in Tipperary. This is an initial 11-month contract, hybrid role.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Digital MMD Project Lead, responsible for DeltaV Systems.
  • Work closely with the Digital MMD teams responsible for the full Automation and IT scope and with vendors/partners responsible for delivery of DeltaV DCS.
  • Write User requirements for DeltaV modules.
  • Review and approve related Design Documentation.
  • Partner with local site project teams to scope changes on the DeltaV system.
  • Participate in Agile sprint teams for software development.
  • Participate in commissioning and qualification activities, including FATs, loop testing, onsite commissioning and testing.
  • Follow the SDLC Procedure to implement changes (covering RS updates, RTM Change control, Implementation and test).
  • Ensure software is implemented in a safe fashion with quality as a necessary output.
  • Configure and test in development system as required.
  • Educate local project teams on automation standards as they relate to technology selection, system configuration, SDLC, validation, hardware, software environments and business processes.
  • Partner with internal Digital departments ensuring standard and secure implementation in line with Standards.
Qualifications
  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree.
  • DeltaV standard and batch training; 3+ years of experience in DeltaV application.
  • Proven record of proficiencies in business analysis on capital projects.
  • Excellent understanding of cGMPs, SDLC methodologies and LEAN/ Six Sigma principles.
  • Excellent facilitation, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to analyze and define business problems, develop business cases, and identify solutions.
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Site-based role.
  • Experience commissioning DeltaV systems in GMP manufacturing facilities.
Location & Eligibility

Tipperary, County Tipperary, Ireland. Applicants must have the right to live and work in Ireland; client cannot assist with visa sponsorship.
