CSA Package Owners

We are hiring a number of CSA Package Owners for large-scale Pharmaceutical Construction projects in Co. Dublin.

Safety

• First priority is the Safety & Health of all persons working on or visiting the site.
• Actively promotes compliance with the Construction Safety & Health Plan and Environmental Management plans. Intervenes directly if any unsafe situations or practices are observed. Coaches the workforce in the application of best safety practices.
• Complete a minimum of five SORs and three SPAs audits each week.
• Participate in the weekly safety audits as required by the rota.
• Review contractors' method statements, SPAs, Permit applications and provide feedback to ensure risks are assessed and appropriate control measures are in place (in lieu of the Package Owner).
• Participate in weekly Safety/Coordination meetings (in lieu of the Package Owner).
• Coordinate with the commissioning team during turnover.

Scope

• Be fully familiar with the contract scope, technical documentation package, contract price details and fabrication/supply/construction programme.

Coordination

• Monitor day-to-day site activities of the Contractors to ensure safety, quality, schedule, cost and documentation compliance. Be fully informed on planned activities, work methods and resources.
• Participate in morning planning meetings at the workface (Whiteboard meetings).
• Be aware of and provide feedback on outputs from the 4-week lookahead, weekly coordination meetings.

Quality

• Monitor the implementation of the Contractors' Quality plan; carry out daily inspections and witness tests/inspections under the Inspection and Test Plan.
• Keep the CM & QA/QC manager informed on quality matters; advise on deviations from IFC documentation and ensure approved changes are implemented.
• Ensure work inspected conforms to the approved FOK and samples.
• Complete at least one specific inspection daily and record in the QIR report.
• Liaise with Construction Superintendent and Material Controller on deliveries, receipts and inspections of items.
• With the QA/QC/Turnover Manager, review and approve test packs and maintain up-to-date status reports.
• Participate in system walkdowns, punch-list management, construction close-out and turnover of systems to client and/or C&Q team.
• Expedite punch-list close-outs.
• In lieu of the Package Owner, review red-line mark-ups for completeness and accuracy and ensure construction IFCs are red-lined showing progress and installation accuracy.

• Degree educated or strong trades background
• At least 7 years of experience in the Construction Sector on live sites
• Knowledge of Life Science, Mission Critical or similarly complex projects essential
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Team management and leadership skills essential
• Good client interface skills desirable
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English
