Are you an FPGA Engineer seeking an exciting new role at a leader in inertial sensor development, working in markets including space and aerospace, in collaboration with the European Space Agency?

European Recruitment is partnering with a high-tech company based in Dublin to recruit a talented FPGA Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  1. Specify and design FPGA blocks
  2. Create design documentation including requirements, specifications, and test plans
  3. Perform FPGA laboratory verification, system integration, and testing
  4. Support FPGA verification and board testing activities
  5. Collaborate on system architecture and design, contributing to reviews
  6. Write, simulate, and verify VHDL FPGA designs
  7. Support schematic and PCB layout reviews
  8. Utilize scripting (Python) and programming (C/C++) languages for simulation and testing

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering
  2. Strong knowledge of FPGA design flow: verification, synthesis, timing, power estimation
  3. Familiarity with interface protocols (UART, SPI, I2C), memory, and communication interfaces
  4. Experience with laboratory equipment like oscilloscopes and signal generators
  5. Knowledge of analog, digital, and power circuit design
  6. Understanding of embedded systems and processor architectures
  7. Experience with version control tools such as SVN and Git
  8. Preferred experience with VHDL and space project design flows (ECSS-Q-ST-60-02)
