IT Infrastructure Solution Design Consultant

Position Overview

Our IT Infrastructure Solution Design Consultant will serve as a bridge between clients and technical teams, focusing on understanding client needs and translating them into actionable technical solutions. The role emphasizes expertise in Compute, Storage, and related IT Infrastructure technologies, leading pre-sales activities such as client engagement, proposal development, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and propose technical solutions aligned with client requirements.
  • Respond to tenders with tailored, competitive proposals.
  • Collaborate with Account and Pricing teams to develop advantageous customer proposals.
  • Improve the Pre-Sales workflow process continuously.
  • Incorporate eir evo's portfolio of solutions into customer proposals and discussions where applicable.
  • Assist in creating strategic offerings with key technology partners.
  • Maintain relevant vendor certifications.
Skills and Knowledge
  • 5+ years of IT experience in Infrastructure, specifically Storage & Compute, VMware Virtualisation, Disaster Recovery, and Backups.
  • Proven experience in Infrastructure and Virtualisation architecture and design.
  • Experience in building Bills of Materials and working with vendors for customer solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, including documentation and infrastructure schematics visualization.
  • Experience in proposal creation and tender responses.
  • Relevant vendor certifications or demonstrable experience.
  • Microsoft Core Infrastructure knowledge (Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Services) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Networking and Public Cloud technologies is advantageous.
