In this role, you'll lead a dynamic team focused on developing and implementing innovative fraud detection solutions that push the boundaries of current technology. As a key player in our fraud prevention strategy, you'll apply machine learning, advanced analytics, and AI-driven solutions to stay ahead of evolving fraud threats.

In your day-to-day role as a Decision Science manager, your responsibilities include:

Lead and guide a team of data scientists in developing and executing fraud prevention strategies through advanced detection models and algorithms.Own a business domain and lead data-driven risk management strategies to support PayPal's global business objectivesTrack and evaluate the performance of fraud detection systems against key KPIs and business goals, ensuring alignment with broader organizational priorities.Tackleplex, ambiguous business problems on fraud domain, driving the planning and execution of long-term projects from start to finish.Collaborate with product and platform teams to create scalable, secure, and innovative products that enhance the experience for our global customers.Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure fraud risk management efforts are aligned with overallpany objectives.Stay informed on emerging fraud trends, techniques, and technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously evolve and strengthen our fraud prevention capabilities.What do you need to bring:
A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent), with 8+ years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 6+ years of professional experience in a related field.

Experience working in the fraud domain, with a demonstrated ability to take personal ownership ofplex challenges. Industry experience in payments, emerce, or financial services is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of managerial experience is required.A quick thinker with a fast learning ability, broad general knowledge, and a strong aptitude for problem-solving.Exceptionalmunication and soft skills, with the ability to presentplex ideas clearly to executive leadership.Preferred Qualification:
